Revered watchmaker Breitling is going back to space for their newest limited edition timepiece. It’s an update of their famous Navitimer watch—the watch that happened to be the first one worn by a person in space when Lt Commander Scott Carpenter had it on as he orbited the Earth three times back in 1962.
It’s the Navitimer Cosmonaute Blacksteel, a limited edition watch that will only be available in 1,000 units. Powered by Breitling’s Caliber B02 movement, this watch has all the functions and high-quality features that you would expect from Breitling. There’s also a nod to Carpenter’s historic Aurora 7 mission on the back, in the form of an inscription of the Aurora 7 mission insignia.
If you’ve got almost $10,000 to spend, head to Breitling’s website here to get a Navitimer Cosmonaute Blacksteel watch for yourself. If not, just check out the pictures in the gallery up top.
