Back in 1995, Breitling unveiled its Emergency Watch, which was the first watch to come equipped with an emergency micro-transmitter that sends out a distress beacon for if you’re ever trapped in a dangerous situation with no other way for you to be located.
Now from Breitling comes the Emergency II, which does the Emergency one better thanks to advanced technology. The micro-transmitter now sends the distress beacon over the COSPAS-SARSAT network of satellites, which means your distress beacon can be heard from just about anywhere.
Of course, since this is Breitling, the Emergency II Watch also has an array of cutting edge features that makes this a great timepiece for any occasion, not just when you’re fighting for your life in the wilderness. For more info, head to Breitling’s website here, or you can just watch the video below. There are also some pictures of the Emergency II Watch in the gallery at the top.
