Watch brand Breitling purports to provide “instruments for professionals” according to their official slogan, and the new Breitling Cockpit B50 is an instrument for a very specific type of professional: An airplane pilot. The watch is outfitted with an incredible array of technological features that were engineered specifically with airplane flights in mind.
Some of the features seen in the Breitling Cockpit B50 to make pilots’ lives easier are an electronic tachometer, two LCDs, a calendar, and most specific of all, “chrono flight” mode. Chrono flight mode lets the Cockpit B50 track such crucial flight data as departure and arrival, as well as the date that the flight occurred. Oh, and it tells time, too.
It’s a good thing that the Breitling Cockpit B50 watch is designed for professional pilots, because with a price that starts at $6,600, you pretty much have to be a professional pilot to afford one. But you can check out the watch’s very cool website (which includes an interactive 360-degree view of the watch) here.
