We all remember the TV show Street Sharks, with its fanciful depiction of anthropomorphic sharks literally swimming through the streets. Now, that legendary television program has inspired visual designer Mehmet Doruk Erdem, who has unveiled the BMW Titan Concept, which looks like a futuristic shark on wheels.

Actually, the BMW Titan Concept was designed not with Street Sharks in mind, but the standing motorcycle land speed record, which happens to be 376 miles per hour. Erdem has imagined a vehicle that uses hydrodynamic principles from the evolution of the ocean’s most ruthless killing machine to break that record. But since it’s just a concept for now, whoever set that record doesn’t have to start sweating…yet.

You can take a look at a few renderings of the BMW Titan Concept in the gallery underneath these words. And for more of Mehmet Doruk Erdem’s work, check him out on Behance right here.
