On Friday, Marvel released a poster for Black Panther, in advance of the teaser trailer that was premiering during the NBA Finals. Some promises do come true, and sure enough we now have that very teaser trailer on the internet for our viewing gratification.
You’re probably familiar with the Marvel formula by this point, but the teaser for Black Panther shows there’s still some marrow left in the old Marvel bones. That might be thanks to Ryan Coogler, who got the Black Panther directing gig on the strength of Creed, (the star of which, Michael B. Jordan, is playing the villain here).
If you haven’t already seen it, take a look at the new Black Panther teaser trailer below. The movie itself is quite a ways off, hitting theaters on February 16th, 2018, and you can stay tuned to its official site right here for more information as we get closer to that date.
