I’m not a sushi expert so I can’t speak to what the ultimate challenge for a master sushi chef like Hiroyuki Terada could be – but whatever it is will have to get in line behind his latest accomplishment, transforming a McDonald’s Big Mac into a sushi roll, a concoction that for purposes of this article I have named Big Mac Sushi.
In a demonstration of his true mastery of the sushi form, Terada uses every component of the Big Mac to create his Big Mac Sushi roll – two all-beef patties in lieu of fish, special sauce adding flavor, and in place of rice the sesame seed buns. He throws in some avocado, spicy mayonnaise, and barbecue sauce too, just for good measure.
If you’ve got 15 minutes to spare, you can watch Hiroyuki Terada create his own Big Mac Sushi in the video below. And for more adventures from the master sushi chef, check out the Diaries of a Master Sushi Chef YouTube channel right here.
