The proliferation of smartphones has ushered in the sleep monitor. Generally, it’s an app that uses the sensors of your phone to analyze your overnight sleep patterns in the hopes of helping you get a better night’s rest. But Misfit has come up with a sleep monitor that’s a lot more advanced: The Beddit.
The Beddit Sleep Monitor does one better than sleep monitors that have to be worn, too—the monitoring apparatus is flat and goes underneath your sheets, where (hopefully) you won’t even feel it when you get in bed at night. And it can measure almost everything that involves your nightly sleep habits, from how long it takes for you to fall asleep to stuff like heart rate and snoring.
It works by syncing up with (naturally) a smartphone app, and you can get some more information on the whole Misfit Beddit Sleep Monitor system at the product’s website here. There, you can also order one for just under $150. Sweet dreams.
