Dunkin-Donuts and Baskin’ Robbins — sorry, Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins — have joined forces for not one, not two, but three new flavors of coffee-flavored ice cream. And Baskin-Robbins Dunkin’ Donuts ice cream is coming to a grocery store (hopefully) near you sometime this spring.
Interestingly, you won’t be able to get Baskin-Robbins Dunkin’ Donuts ice cream at any Baskin-Robbins ice cream shoppe, this instead being a home version type deal. The three flavors are, in case you’re interested, Coffee, French Vanilla Coffee or Coffee Chocolate Chip. That’s pretty much the long and the short of it, but here’s some copy from Boardwalk Frozen Treats CEO David Owens anyway:
“Baskin-Robbins has been an ice cream flavor innovator for over 70 years, and Dunkin’ Donuts is a U.S. coffee leader. It’s the perfect combination that brings the brands’ premium ice cream and coffee flavors to even more consumers.”
That’s courtesy of the official Baskin-Robbins Dunkin’ Donuts ice cream press release announcement right here. You know what to do.
