Every year, towards the end of the year, the people at Time magazine announce their selection for the year’s most important figure. It’s the Time “Person of the Year,” and no matter who they select, it’s always a great conversation-starter and thought-provoker.
This year, Time has named President Barack Obama as the Person of the Year. This is Mr. Obama’s second time winning the title, four years after his historic first presidential victory. In being selected, President Obama beat out other close contenders, such as Apple CEO Tim Cook and Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi.
