At this point in cinematic history, there are Marvel movies, and then there’s everything else. So it’s a bigger deal than usual when a trailer for a Marvel Studios joint hits the internet, especially when it’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, the next installment of the Avengers super-series, which will probably go down as the most successful movie franchise of all time (for a while, anyway).
In case you’re not up on your Marvel supervillains, the “Ultron” in Avengers: Age of Ultron refers to an evil robot (voiced by James Spader in this incarnation) with a penchant for building increasingly powerful bodies for himself in order to aid his perpetual quest for world domination and to kill his father. So, you know, something your kids can really get excited about.
If your inner child wants to get psyched about a superhero-killing robot voiced by James Spader, you can check out the trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron below. The movie is set for release on May 1st, 2015, and you can take a look at its official website right here.
