The iPhone 7, as you may have heard, shocked the world by not having its own designated headphone jack. There’s now a cottage industry of devices and gadgets to help mend that gaping wound, but one of the most versatile is the Auxilite, which acts as a two-way headphone adapter for any smartphone you might want to charge and listen to music through at the same time.
Auxilite plugs into the iPhone’s Lightning port and offers users both an additional Lightning jack and a standard analog headphone port, both of which can be used at the same time. There’s also an Android version, but it’s clear that the iOS Auxilite is the one that will interest the most headphone-mourning users.
That includes an awful lot of people, since more than 5100 of them have chosen to back the Auxilite at the product’s Kickstarter page here. There, you can pre-order yours starting at nine dollars and up, and get a lot more information on what it can do.
