Aston Martin has unveiled the car that will replace their dear departed Rapide model. It’s called the Rapide S, an along with that new “S” at the end of the name, the newly introduced automobile also comes equipped with a new and improved 550 horsepower engine – an improvement of 80 horsepower over the last Rapide.
That new engine can propel the Rapide S to a top speed of 190 miles per hour, while getting it to 60 miles per hour in just 4.7 seconds. As for the exterior of the car, it’s definitely keeping with Aston Martin‘s tradition of really good-looking cars, as it bears a strong resemblance to previous Aston Martin models, but still manages to provide a fresh, new look for 2013.
Info on pricing hasn’t been released in advance of its pre-order roll-out sometime next month, but analysts expect it to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $200,000 or more.
If that sounds like too steep a price to pay, you can watch the promotional video for the car below for free. You’re welcome.
