If you can judge a powerboat purely by its pedigree, then one that results from the combined efforts of Aston Martin, Quintessence, and Mulder Design (a firm responsible for designing the impossible boats piloted by Commander James Bond in some of the 007 movies) is worth paying attention to. That’s the case with the Aston Martin AM37, the first powerboat under the Aston Martin brand.
The Aston Martin AM37 (and its faster counterpart the AM37S) is constructed from 37 feet of carbon fiber and other super-scientific composites. And it has at least one technological feature James Bond would likely approve of – a sliding deck that can cover the cockpit at the touch of a button.
Equipped with other goodies like an on-board refrigerator and espresso machine, the Aston Martin AM37 is still in the pre-release phase, with pricing and other details still to come.
