Among Russian billionaire Vasily Klyukin’s hobbies is coming up with crazy ideas for skyscrapers, and his latest is a doozy, albeit one that will more than likely never see the light of day. It’s called the Asian Cobra Tower, a proposed serpentine addition to any Asian metropolitan skyline.
The Asian Cobra Tower isn’t called that because it would be home to a bunch of reptilian plutocrats, but because it actually looks like a giant cobra, complete with huge pointed fangs. Its “skin” changes color with special lighting built into the structure’s facade — or at least it would if it were a real building.
Instead, we’ll have to be content with a few renderings of the Asian Cobra Tower, courtesy of Mr. Klyukin, in the gallery below. And for more cool stuff from Klyukin (who also moonlights as a scifi novelist), check out his official site right here.
