Everybody likes fine art, especially if it’s as striking as Yayoi Kusama’s work usually is. But not everyone can afford to collect her work, or travel to all the museums and galleries where it’s exhibited – but most people could probably hack a pair of socks featuring prints designed by the famous artist, which is now possible to do.
The patters seen on Yayoi Kusama’s new line of socks could liberally be described as “polka dots,” but these visuals are way too psychedelic and eye-popping for that. In fact, looking at them now, it almost seems like a shame that they’ll be partially hidden by shoes most of the time.
The new Yayoi Kusama line of socks, priced at about $30 a pair, is available now from Japanese retailer Spiral (you can check them out here, if you’re all brushed up on your Japanese). And you can take a look at the socks in the gallery up at the top of the page.
