It is officially July, which means we have entered the sweltering dog days of summer in the western hemisphere. In an economy governed strictly by supply and demand, the price of Arby’s Coke Floats should be at their highest point, but since the chain is celebrating a recent flip from Pepsi to Coke products they actually cost just a buck throughout the entire month. As Arby’s big cheddar Rob Lynch put it in a press statement:
“We are proud to now pour Coca-Cola products at Arby’s restaurants across the United States. They are amazing partners with amazing brands … We’re known for big, meaty sandwiches and variety that is second to none in our industry. We now have an incredible range of Coca-Cola beverages that perfectly complement our menu.”
I guess it’s just a matter of time before some marketing wizard tries to convince Arby’s customers to chow down on a Coca-Cola French Dip. But in the meantime, enjoy your $1 Arby’s Coke Floats from now til August.
