Alongside new information on the Mac Pro, Apple has also unveiled details about the iPad Air, the latest and greatest in their iPad line. It earns the “Air” name by virtue of the fact that it’s thinner and lighter than any other iPad tablet to date, which is doubly impressive when you consider the fact that it’s also the most powerful.
If you want specifics, take a look at these: The iPad Air is only 7.5 millimeters thick, and weighs just one pound. That makes it 20% thinner and 28% lighter than the previous iPad, while the 64-bit A7 chip makes it more powerful and faster.
When the iPad Air rolls out next month, it will start at $500 depending on which version you get. For a full rundown of the iPad Air’s specs and features, head to Apple’s website for the product here.
