The Apple iWatch, the existence of which hasn’t even been confirmed by Apple as of yet, is nevertheless a hot source of speculation in the tech world. The latest piece of information comes from a report by 9to5Mac, which involves a couple of key figures having been rescued from Nike and put to work on the iWatch.
Those figures are former members of the Nike FuelBand team, who were out of work after Nike discontinued its FuelBand line. They’re Ryan Bailey and Jon Gale, two high-ranking Nike FuelBand team members who were reportedly hired by Apple last month and are now working on developing the iWatch and presumably focusing on the combo of form and function that both Apple and Nike are known for.
Whether or not the Apple iWatch will have any recognizable Nike DNA remains to be seen, as is whether or not the iWatch will even be released. Stay tuned for more details, and you can read a little more on this story from Complex here.
