It looks like the rumors about Apple releasing a “budget iPhone” were true, in the form of the iPhone 5c. The 5c marks the first time Apple has unveiled two phones at the same time—along with the iPhone 5s, of course.
The iPhone 5c is constructed from a relatively inexpensive hard-coated polycarbonate, but it has an A6 processor and 8-megapixel rear camera, much like its predecessor. The 16 GB model costs only $99 (the 32 GB costs $199) and it comes in five bright colors, which was also previously rumored before the recent unveiling.
