It’s possible you’ve had a chance to use an Amazon in your town, in which case you know how they work – basically, they’re electronic delivery lockers for Amazon parcels that are located in publicly accessible areas for easy pickup and drop-off of Amazon packages. Now, Amazon has unveiled a similar product engineered specifically for apartment buildings and complexes: The Amazon Hub.
The Amazon Hub is installed either indoors or outdoors and in a variety of different sizes, all accessed by a passcode entered on the Hub’s touchscreen. Then, users can pick up and/or drop off their packages, all without having to go through the management office or any of the other usual hoops. And it’s designed to work with any package sent from anywhere, not just from Amazon.
Landlords can apply to get their own Amazon Hub right here, so if you’re on an emailing basis with yours you might want to shoot them a link.
