A universal video game controller is kind of like a perpetual motion device or a completely clean fuel source – a holy grail thought by some to be unattainable by science. But now it has been achieved – the ALL Controller, billed as “the world’s first universal gamepad” by its creators at Digital Depth.
The ALL Controller will be able to work every single current video game console, as well as a host of mobile devices, smartphones, tablets, and more. It was created to be fully customizable by the user, allowing them to “configure, modify, and tune up to 16 profiles that can be saved on the ALL Controller.” Its battery can support up to 40 hours of uninterrupted gameplay on a single charge, which may or may not be an improvement over the actual human body, and its ergonomically designed and packed with features like time-sensitive button combinations and wireless charging.
