We had a little poster for Alien: Covenant a while ago, but now we have a full-blown trailer for the upcoming hotly anticipated sequel to Prometheus (it might also have something to do with those Alien movies).
The trailer for Alien: Covenant (which has a nice red band owing to its graphic violence and language) focuses on the horror elements of the franchise, and even includes a shower murder, which is a little like a rock band covering “Satisfaction” at this point. It also follows the recent trend of trailers set to slowed-down, creepy versions of popular pop tunes, in this case “Nature Boy.”
You can watch the trailer for Alien: Covenant below. And you have until May 19th, 2017, to look up the word “covenant,” since that’s when the movie bursts out of its host’s chest and into theaters everywhere. In the meantime, take a look at the movie’s official site right here.
