Believe it or not, it’s been five years since Tim Burton‘s Alice in Wonderland became a box office smash, breaking the billion-dollar gross mark despite seemingly no one liking it very much. Now, there’s a somewhat belated sequel coming out, based on Lewis Carroll’s sequel to his original novel, called Alice Through the Looking Glass, and which now has an official trailer online.
Tim Burton isn’t returning to direct Alice Through the Looking Glass, but most of the cast from the first movie is, with the principle addition being Sacha Baron Cohen as the bad guy “Time.” And despite Burton’s absence, it appears that Disney has managed to capture the original movie’s manic ice cream headache style, at least according to this trailer.
