March 26th, otherwise known in the sneaker world as Air Max Day, is coming just around the corner. And probably the coolest preparation for that date can be found at the closed Saint-Martin Paris Metro station, which treats passing passengers to an impressive neon Air Max display.
Nike’s Saint-Martin Paris Metro display includes (of course) the Nike logo and a graphic reminding readers about Air Max Day’s approaching date, but the coolest parts of the display are the giant Air Max air cushion replicas on the wall – they probably look like formless blobs to those not in the know, but to sneakerheads the shape is unmistakable.
If you’re going to be on the Paris Metro any time soon, just keep your eyes open when your train passes through the closed Saint-Martin station to see the display for yourself. But the rest of you can take a look at some photos of the display in the gallery below, and for more on Air Max Day, head over to Nike’s site here.
