The adidas Originals Micropacer was a sneaker ahead of its time, with its technological emphasis on concepts like activity tracking that are commonplace today. That, as well as its recent 30th birthday, might explain why the sneaker has been getting a glut of new colorways lately, the latest being the adidas Originals Micropacer OG “Snakeskin.” The sneaker was born by taking the original Micropacer colorway and wrapping it in a weirdly luxurious snakeskin upper.
Snakeskin and a pedometer might seem like an odd fit, but one man’s odd is another man’s inspired, a line that is certainly straddled by the adidas Originals Micropacer OG “Snakeskin.” Hits of black, white, and grey leather in the Three Stripes logo, midsole, and heel tab join the snakeskin and round out the sneaker nicely.
Unfortunately, release details on the adidas Originals Micropacer OG “Snakeskin” are still to come, with the image above being one of the only hints of a possible future release. Stay tuned to the official adidas Originals website here for more information.
