From adidas comes a new colorway for the D Rose 3.5, Derrick Rose’s signature sneaker. It’s called, appropriately enough, “Chi-Town,” in honor of Rose and his celebrated hometown.

The colorway mimics the city of Chicago’s flag – fitting given Rose’s status as the Chicago Bulls’ hometown hero. There is also a rugged leather upper, designed to salute the hard-working people of Chicago, and a glittery finish that stands for all of Rose’s many accolades in his basketball career.

It’s some heady symbolism for a basketball shoe, and it is set to be available for purchase on the adidas online store here on February 28th. Until then, get a closer look at the Chi-Town D Rose 3.5 sneakers via the above gallery.
