Believe it or not, Marvel Comics has been around in some form or another for 75 years, and if you didn’t expect the reigning kings of all media to capitalize on that milestone, I’ve got an Infinity Gauntlet to sell you. One of the coolest pieces of Marvel memorabilia for its 75th birthday is 75 Years of Marvel: From the Golden Age to the Silver Screen, a handsome coffee table book outlining the company’s 75-year history.
75 Years of Marvel was written by Roy Thomas, who accumulated plenty of information on Marvel characters during his stint as Marvel Comics editor. And the book is an impressively mounted collection of not just textual information but original comic art, behind-the-scenes photographs, and a lot more.
75 Years of Marvel: From the Golden Age to the Silver Screen would make a pretty damn great Christmas present for the person in your life who still hasn’t gotten sick of Marvel superheroes after seven years of very loud movies once it comes out in December, but you can pre-order it from Amazon here for under $130. You can also check out a few photos from the book in the gallery below, and to see more for Marvel’s 75th anniversary, take a look at Marvel’s website for the occasion here.
