Computers have changed so much since they heyday of the Apple Mac Plus computer that a computer today barely seems like the same kind of machine. But that didn’t stop blogger Jeff Keacher (you can check out his blog here) from hooking up his old Mac Plus to the internet.
Keacher had to perform a few technical upgrades to the Mac Plus, like repairing a cracked power drive, but once he did he was able to navigate through the internet just like he could with a modern-day Mac. Well, okay, it was a little slower…Okay, a lot slower.
But his patience was rewarded with some really cool retro-style renderings of sites like Wikipedia, which you can see in the gallery up top. And you can also see a video of Jeff Keacher’s 2013 Mac Plus adventure below—with the very long load time sped up for modern viewers, thankfully. Patience really is a lost art.
