From Porsche comes the unveiling of the 2013 Cayman, which took place at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.

As most analysts predicted, its design is practically identical to the 2013 Porsche Boxster, but with some other crucial differences.  Among those are an increase in power, as the Cayman carries 275 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque from its 2.7-liter boxer-six engine, giving it and additional 10 horsepower and 7 lb-ft compared to that of the Boxster’s engine.  Of course, that means it also has a slightly higher price tag, with a $53,550 MSRP.

All in all, the 2013 Porsche Cayman is a worthy addition to the legendary sports car brand. Watch for it to hit Porsche showrooms soon – maybe they’ll let you test-drive it or something.
