One of the most coveted automobiles of the past quarter century (or more) would have to be the 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster, in part because there were only a total of six of them made. Now, the very first one is set to hit the auction block later this month, where it’s expected to go for around $2.5 million.
This particular 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster being put up for auction is actually the first one ever made, and the only one of the six with a black livery, so if you’re the owner of one of the other five you probably shouldn’t bank on getting as much for yours if you put it up for sale. The car has a total of five (5) miles on it, from when its current owner drove it off the Mercedes lot.
The auction for the first-ever 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster is scheduled to happen on June 25th at Bonhams. You can check out the car’s listing here.
