Sometimes it takes two brands combining forces to produce true innovation, and that has lately been proven with the collaboration of carbon fiber skate deck specialists 121C and electric skateboard brand Arc Boards. Together they have come up with the 121C Arc Aileron, billed as the “world’s first lightweight, pure carbon, high performance electric skateboard.”
Of course, most people don’t care if the 121C Arc Aileron is a pioneer in its field, but if it works, and the Aileron has performance stats that back up its groundbreaking design. The whole thing weighs under ten pounds but can support as many 264 without buckling. It can travel up to 22 miles per hour, has a range of 11 miles on one charge, and a full charge takes about 90 minutes. You can even control it via remote with a control that resembles a Wii remote.
