This Sunday is the 22nd of November, a date made infamous by the assassination of JFK in 1963. Ever since then, people have wondered what would happen if they could go back in time, to A: See who really committed the crime, and B: Stop it from happening. That’s the corker of a premise behind Stephen King’s novel 11/22/63, which has been adapted by JJ Abrams as a Hulu original series coming in February of next year.
Now, the TV miniseries version of 11/22/63, which stars James Franco as the English teacher who discovers a hole in time and tries to prevent one of the greatest American tragedies of the 20th century from ever happening, has a short teaser.
The teaser sets up the story’s hook—hole in time, Kennedy assassination, ticking clock, and so on—with a bit of voice over from Chris Cooper, one of Franco’s co-stars in the series. You can watch the teaser below, and if you like what you see, it might be time to start thinking about a Hulu subscription, or at least getting one of those free trials around February 15th, 2016, when all eight episodes of the show are set to have their premier.
