What’s the first thing you think of when you hear the word Thanksgiving? Family? Probably not. Sure, family is supposed to be the first thing that comes to mind when we think of Thanksgiving, but we all know the main attraction is the food. For some people that means turkey. For some it means stuffing. For some it means pie. But it’s almost always food.
Unfortunately, this makes Thanksgiving one of the least healthy holidays on the calendar. The Christmas season may be filled with cookies and ham, of course, but at no time do we bear down and gorge with as much gusto as we do on the fourth Thursday in November.
Believe it or not, however, there are some ways to enjoy your feast on Thanksgiving while not completely giving in to gluttony. And today we’re going to give you a few tips on how to do that.
