As I’m sure you already know, Valentine’s Day is by far the most difficult occasion for which to shop. You have to get your special lady friend something, even if she insists that Valentine’s Day is stupid. (Seriously, don’t fall for that one.) However, you also have to pick out something that’s appropriate for your stage in the relationship.
Why is that tricky? Because Valentine’s Day is all about love and romance and passion, and whatever token you offer up has to reflect that. Thus, you can’t just get her a sweater or gift card, because that has nothing to do with love. However, you also have to make sure you don’t go overboard so as not to send signals about some level of commitment for which you’re not ready.
Luckily, today we’re going to provide some basic Valentine’s gift-buying guidance. This list of suggestions is by no mean exhaustive; however, it will point you in the right direction and, hopefully, prevent you from doing something stupid.
Take a look.
