Tequila is good for pretty much two things: Getting you incredibly, irresponsibly drunk, and impressing people with your vast wealth and good taste. For the former, you can turn to pretty much any tequila. But for the latter, it takes a special breed, one that costs way more money than you should reasonably spend on something you probably won’t remember finishing.

But, we all have to have a vice, right? So here are nine of the most expensive tequilas on Earth. They come in the finest bottles, and are purported to be the very best in their class in terms of flavor, texture, aroma, and more. And they are very, very expensive.

Actress/writer/pretty girl Olivia Munn is the latest subject of Esquire‘s ongoing “Women We Love” feature in the magazine’s June/July 2013 issue. Luckily for all of us, the feature includes a photo shoot showing Munn in a couple of different bikinis, as well as one of the smallest pairs of cutoffs on record.

Fragment Design’s minimalist black-and-white aesthetic makes a good match with Casio’s G-Shock digital watch line, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary. For proof, check out Fragment Design and Casio’s special edition DW-6900, which is intended to commemorate the occasion.

Los Angeles is home to a new sock brand called 40s & Shorties. And they’ve got a very exciting new lookbook out that is true to the brand’s name. Oh, and it has some socks in it too.

As you can see in the gallery above, just because this is a lookbook designed to sell socks, it doesn’t mean that the socks are the most memorable part about it. The choice of models is, uh, stimulating, and will probably fill you with a strange urge to buy as many socks as you can jam into your top drawer.

The Ewing Focus Retro from Ewing Athletics is coming out in a new colorway called “White/Black-Red.” The color blocking has been pointed out to be the reverse of the previous Ewing Focus colorway, “Black/Red-Grey.”

The majority of the “White/Black-Red” Ewing Focus Retro’s upper is in white with hits of black and red, as well as Patrick Ewing‘s signature logo over the black ankle strap.

A preview of a new colorway for the Nike Air Foamposite Pro has leaked on the internet. And it looks like the new gradient color scheme will be a continuation of Nike‘s use of loud and bold colors in their Foamposite line.

Fading from black in the heel all the way to yellow in the toe, the new gradient colorway also includes details like a jewel swoosh logo and hits of yellow on the pull-tab and branding.

With vinyl having made a big comeback over the last several years, there’s a good chance you’ve at least given some thought to the idea of buying a record player. Maybe you’re on the fence about it, or maybe you’re just looking for a good excuse to finally pull the trigger on one.

Yahoo! made a pretty big purchase today, with the announcement that they’ve acquired social media site Tumblr for the price of $1.1 billion.

That may seem like a lot of money for a website, but Yahoo has some solid statistics to back up their decision. For instance, Tumblr has produced “more than 300 million monthly unique visitors and 120,000 signups every day,” according to Yahoo’s official press release.  And Yahoo! obviously believes that those traffic numbers will generate enough revenue to justify their purchase.

The statement also includes CEO Marissa Mayer’s promise “not to screw it up,” as well as word that Tumblr will remain independently operated under its own CEO David Karp.

Whether or not this acquisition will result in any changes for Tumblr’s millions of users remains to be seen. But you can read the full press release from Yahoo! below.

SUNNYVALE, Calif. & NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) and Tumblr announced today that they have reached a definitive agreement for Yahoo! to acquire Tumblr.

Per the agreement and our promise not to screw it up, Tumblr will be independently operated as a separate business. David Karp will remain CEO. The product, service and brand will continue to be defined and developed separately with the same Tumblr irreverence, wit, and commitment to empower creators.

With more than 300 million monthly unique visitors and 120,000 signups every day, Tumblr is one of the fastest-growing media networks in the world. Tumblr sees 900 posts per second (!) and 24 billion minutes spent on site each month. On mobile, more than half of Tumblr’s users are using the mobile app and do an average of 7 sessions per day. Its tremendous popularity and engagement among creators, curators and audiences of all ages brings a significant new community of users to the Yahoo! network. The combination of Tumblr+Yahoo! is expected to grow Yahoo!’s audience by 50 percent to more than a billion monthly visitors, and to grow traffic by approximately 20 percent.

The deal offers unique opportunities for both companies. Tumblr can deploy Yahoo!’s personalization technology and search infrastructure to help its users discover creators, bloggers, and content they’ll love. In turn, Tumblr brings 50 billion blog posts (and 75 million more arriving each day) to Yahoo!’s media network and search experiences. The two companies will also work together to create advertising opportunities that are seamless and enhance the user experience.

Total consideration is approximately $1.1 billion, substantially all of which is payable in cash.

Kanye West’s recent performance on Saturday Night Live was a real conversation-starter for several reasons. For one, he played two tracks from his upcoming album, believed to be titled, Yeezus. But something else caught the eye of sneakerheads watching the broadcast: He was wearing new red/red Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers.

The new red/red colorway of the Air Yeezy 2, the first new colorway since summer 2012, was also seen in the recent Instagram post from Kim Kardashian that also contained the cover art for Yeezus – you can check it out for yourself in the picture above.

Release details on the new red/red Air Yeezy 2 sneakers aren’t backed up by any official information as of now. But some are speculating that the sneakers’ release will be timed to coincide with the new album; we’ll just have to wait and see.
