The stable of classic Universal Monsters — Frankenstein’s Monster, Dracula, the Phantom of the Opera, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and so on — are sort of like a legacy rock act in that if you’re a fan you just have to resign yourself to purchasing their stuff once every few years.
