‘Robin Hood': New Feature Film Version Gets Trailer (Video)
Robin Hood has to be one of the most filmed fictional characters of all time, up there with Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, and Donald Trump. He’s been played by everybody from Douglas Fairbanks and Errol Flynn to Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, and Cary Elwes. Now, you can add Kingsman‘s Taron Egerton to that list, in an upcoming film that a teaser for which is now online.
The teaser shows that the 2018 Robin Hood has plenty of explosive, slow-motion, arrow-dynamic action, as well as a loaded supporting cast including Jamie Foxx and Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham (perfect casting, I have to admit). You probably know the basic plot, but just in case you don’t here’s the official synopsis:
“Robin of Loxley (Taron Egerton) a war-hardened Crusader and his Moorish commander (Jamie Foxx) mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance.”
Robin Hood comes out on November 21st, but for more you can head over to its official site here right now. Here’s the teaser:
