Heaven’s Door: A Whiskey Brand by Bob Dylan

Heaven's Door

When Bob Dylan went electric in 1965, it rocked the folk and rock music worlds to their cores. Now, 53 years later, that guy has started his own whiskey distillery in Tennessee. It’s called Heaven’s Door, and Bob is characteristically clear and to the point in his press copy on the brand:

“GATES APPEAL TO ME BECAUSE OF THE NEGATIVE SPACE THEY ALLOW. THEY CAN SHUT YOU OUT OR SHUT YOU IN. AND IN SOME WAYS THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE.”

“WE WANTED TO CREATE A COLLECTION OF AMERICAN WHISKEYS THAT, IN THEIR OWN WAY, TELL A STORY.”

In order to hear those stories, you’ll have to enjoy a bottle of Heaven’s Door rye whiskey, double barrel whiskey, or Tennessee bourbon, with bottles starting at $60 a pop.

You can order a bottle at the Heaven’s Door site right here, which I’d like to add is probably the only alcohol brand site I’ve seen that doesn’t engage in that charade where you have to enter in your birthday to get in. Thanks for not insulting our intelligence, Bob!
