Hangover Glass Has an Overlaid Guide to Multiple Remedies
‘The Beer Pantry: Cooking at the Intersection of Craft Beer and Great Food’
Next month, author Adam Dulye, executive chef to the Brewers Association, is coming out with a new cookbook that’s right in his professional wheelhouse. It’s The Beer Pantry: Cooking at the Intersection of Craft Beer and Great Food, and it’s engineered as a counteraction of the notion of beer as a lowbrow junk food beverage:
“The recipes in this book will dispel the notion that beer is just bubbly stuff served by the pitcher with fried food. Among the recipes, you’ll find appetizers and snacks like Radishes Dipped in Hop Butter, refreshing salads like Four-Carrot Salad with Toasted Grains, hearty entrees like Smoked Beef Brisket with Rosemary Confit Potatoes, and even desserts like Dark Chocolate Soufflés.”
The Beer Pantry also includes beer pairings with each recipe, so if nothing else it could be a good way for you to get rid of any surplus beer that might be taking up space in your refrigerator.
The Beer Pantry: Cooking at the Intersection of Craft Beer and Great Food comes out on March 13th, but you can pre-order a copy at Amazon right here for a hair over $16.
