‘Dirty Money': Netflix Doc Explores Cost of Greed (Trailer)
It’s hard to open up a newspaper or check out social media these days without being reminded of ever increasing greed all around us. Alex Gibney is the documentarian behind Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room and Going Clear, and he’s taken to Netflix for his next project, exploring just that subject across six different stories, covering everyone from Martin Shkreli to Donald Trump. It’s called Dirty Money.
Dirty Money is a six-part series that purports to uncover “the greed, corruption, and crime spreading through our global economy.” It might be a case of preaching to the choir, but it’s still pretty cool that a documentary series like this will be available in every Netflix-subscribing home starting on January 26th.
