Public Enemies: Jay-Z vs Kanye Yeezy Sounds

Kanye West’s split with Jay-Z’s TIDAL streaming service is well known, but a recent report indicates that he’s prepared to take this rivalry to the next level, by launching a streaming service of his own that would possibly be a direct competitor to TIDAL. It would be called Yeezy Sounds, if trademark documents reportedly filed by West are to be believed.

According to those documents, Yeezy Sounds would include “streaming of music, audio, images, video and other multimedia content over the internet.” Whether or not the service would be centered on Kanye’s own work or if it would be more of an all-purpose music service like TIDAL or Spotify remains to be seen – if it ever gets beyond these early planning stages in the first place.

Naturally, time will tell if you will one day get the chance to sign up for Yeezy Sounds, but in the meantime you can read up on those trademark documents right here.
