‘Jigsaw': Finally, ‘Saw’ is Being Updated for Modern Audiences (Trailer)
‘Ready Player One’ SDCC Trailer Drops (Video)
Ernest Cline’s 2011 novel Ready Player One was a hit among 80s pop culture obsessed nostalgia hounds, and many were shocked when none other than Steven Spielberg signed on to direct the movie version. At San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, a teaser trailer for the movie was released, and it looks like an overload of 80s references with some action scenes thrown in.
The Iron Giant, Duke Nukem, Freddy Krueger, and even Harley Quinn and Deadshot from Suicide Squad make blink-and-miss-em cameos in the first teaser trailer for Ready Player One, which doesn’t have to worry about any continuity issues since it’s all about a giant virtual reality universe where anything can happen. Ready Player One hits theaters on March 30th, 2018. The book’s official site can be found here.
