Radio Flyer ‘Star Wars’ Landspeeder: You Know, for Jedi
When the original Star Wars movie came out, the Hollywood Toy Industrial Complex was still churning out cheap Planet of the Apes action figures, and was nowhere near its current size and power. That’s the only explanation I can come up with for why it’s taken 40 years for the Radio Flyer Star Wars Landspeeder to come along.
The Radio Flyer Star Wars Landspeeder allows the young Jedi in your life to sit behind the – uh, wheel? Do these things have steering wheels? – of a reasonable facsimile of the landspeeder Luke Skywalker drove in A New Hope, aka The Beginning of This Whole Mess. That means it’s a little banged up, a little worse for wear, as part of the movie’s famous “used future” aesthetic, but kids probably won’t notice.
You can pre-order the Radio Flyer Star Wars Landspeeder from the Toys “R” Us online store here, where it’s priced at a parsec under $500.
