Closer: Magnum Square Prints from Magnum Photography on Sale
Magnum Photography is a photography collective with some of the greatest photographers of all time in its ranks, and now they’re holding a sale of museum-quality Magnum square prints for $100 a pop under the collective title Closer that might make it possible for you to hang one of their photos on your wall with pride.
The Closer Magnum square prints are “signed and estate stamped,” measuring in at six by six inches. They include works by Robert Capa, Stuart Franklin, Eve Arnold, Elliot Erwitt, Alex Webb, Jonas Bendiksen, Bruce Davidson and more, and the subjects include Marilyn Monroe as well as less famous but no less interesting faces and visuals. All of the photos are said to embody the Capa’s maxim: “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough,” which also gives the collection its title.
Check out the Closer Magnum square prints sale here, where it’s going for the next four days as of this writing.
