Pepsi Fire: Legendary Pepsi Flavor Makes Its Way Stateside, in Slurpee Form
Soft drink devotees have long shared tales of two legendary Pepsi flavors: Fire and Ice. Available only in Guam, Saipan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Vietnam, the two flavors made their debuts in the early 2000s, and now in a seeming attempt to recover from its disastrous Kendall Jenner commercial, Pepsi has finally made one of the two flavors available domestically – kind of. Reports have surfaced of Pepsi Fire Slurpees being available in 7-11 locations of certain regions.
Right now, it seems to be 7-11s in Michigan that are carrying the Pepsi Fire flavor – which, in case you’re interested, is supposed to be of the spicy cinnamon cola variety. A Pepsi spokesperson said that Fire would only be available as a limited edition Slurpee flavor, and there were no plans for a regular release of the flavor … but reports appear to contradict this apparent misdirection as well.
In a time when it’s seemingly impossible for a day to go by without some ominous intrigue threatening to tear the United States government apart, it’s nice to be privy to some intrigue of the Pepsi Fire variety. Keep your eyes peeled for future developments on this very important story.
