Blue Origin

The approaching era of space tourism means a real line in the sand is being drawn between people who will happily take the chance to explore Earth’s surrounding vacuum of space if they can afford it and people who would rather take their chances here on Earth. Now that I’ve seen the latest sales spiel on behalf of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin, with its promise of “the largest windows ever in space,” I’m now confident that I am in the latter category.

I get the appeal of large windows in space, but it seems to me an awful lot can go wrong when you start carving out what used to be the hull to make room for a bunch of giant windows. Blue Origin seems to have its stuff together, though, and a new video showing what its space tourism cabins will be like is definitely aimed at people who want to be on the cutting edge of private space travel.

If that’s you, or if you’re just curious about what a $250,000 ticket to travel through space will get you, check out Blue Origin in the video below. And for more, take a look at the company’s official site here.
