Boomerang: Classic Cartoon Channel Getting Streaming Service (Video)
For fans of classic cartoons, one of the coolest cable channels is Boomerang, but unfortunately it never really caught on to the point of being included in most affordable cable packages. Luckily for cartoon lovers everywhere, though, the channel is soon to get a second incarnation as an on-demand subscription service with thousands of cartoons in its library.
The Boomerang vaults include multiple incarnations of the adventures of Scooby-Doo and Mystery, Inc., as well as the Looney Tunes canon and Tom & Jerry. Throw in the rest of the Hanna-Barbera back catalogue and you’ve got yourself a difficult prospect to resist, especially if it only costs $40 a year.
The Boomerang streaming service is coming to multiple platforms later this year, and you can get an idea of what it’s all about in the announcement video below. For more information, and to sign up for details as they become available, head to the service’s official site right here.
