Tokyo 2020 Ambassadors

The nation of Japan is known for many things, and one of them is its deep love of mascots. Everyone who was aware of this proclivity was therefore sensibly excited about what Japan had in store for the 2020 Olympics, and true to form the Tokyo 2020 Ambassadors don’t disappoint—made up, as they are, entirely of animated characters.

The Tokyo 2020 Ambassadors include Goku, Sailor Moon, Naruto, Astroboy, and more, and the video introducing this new team to the world hints that there may be more mascots to come—Speed Racer, perhaps? Although, he might be too upset that stock car racing isn’t an Olympic sport to participate.
