Midnight Scoop: An Ice Cream Scoop Designed by an Aerospace Engineer

Midnight Scoop

I’ve often heard it said that we could put a man on the moon but we still can’t invent the perfect ice cream scoop. I bring it up for obvious reasons, since the Midnight Scoop is not the name of some forgotten pulp hero, but instead an ice cream scoop designed by aerospace engineer Michael Chou to be the perfect such device.

The Midnight Scoop is ergonomically designed with a point in the front that allows the scooper to push through the ice cream with ease, no matter how densely frozen or thick it is. That means no waiting for it to thaw, and no soaking the scoop in warm water to cut through the ice cream.  And we have science to thank for it!

You can purchase an aluminum Midnight Scoop in your choice of chrome, graphite, gold, or moonstone finish for $35 at the product’s official site right here, or if you want to further acquaint yourself with this space age scoop, you can do so by watching the video below.
