Alive 2017

It’s a good time to be a Daft Punk fan.  The duo are heard on the new single from The Weeknd, and rumors of an approaching world tour are reaching a fever pitch. Adding to those rumors is a mysterious new website called Alive 2017, an obvious reference to the pair’s Alive 1997 and Alive 2007 tours.

The Alive 2017 site’s mysterious and minimalist aesthetic (right now it’s only the word “ALIVE” in white on a black background) make it impossible to confirm whether this is even the official work of Daft Punk, and some are speculating that it’s just some kind of attention-getting hoax. But Reddit users reportedly have found geographic code in the site corresponding to probable tour stops like Paris, New York, and Tokyo, so it’s fun for now to pretend like it’s real.

You can check out the Alive 2017 site right here, where if you’re a true diehard you’ll probably check back from time to time for updates.
